In addition to those who filed on November 2nd; namely, Jacqueline M. Barlow, John Chang, Michelle Moore, Joan L. Muldoon, Daniel M. Petrozelli, and Terri B. Yessman, seven other aspirants have submitted their paperwork. Filing for the job was closed on November 9th.
Tomorrow night, Tuesday, November 15th, at a Special Board Meeting, and following a one-hour closed-door meeting on another topic which will begin at 6:30 pm in the Wade Administration Building in Martinsville, the Board will reconvene in open public session at 7:30 pm to interview candidates for this vacancy.
The names of the additional seven candidates are listed below in alphabetical order:

Kendall M. Blythe, a VP at Tokio Marine Management,
and a 14-year Bridgewater resident.
Education: University of
Maryland.

Steven P. Charewycz, a Physical Science Teacher at
Middlesex County Vo-Tech, and an 11-year Bridgewater resident. Education:
Rutgers University, Stevens Institute of Technology, Keller online
Graduate School.

Raja Das, a Team Leader at Becton Dickinson, and a
4-year Bridgewater resident.
Education: India Institute of
Management.

Aricent
Group, a KKR Portfolio Company, and a 6-year Bridgewater resident. Education:
Brown University, Georgetown University.

Andrea Pellegrino, a 5-year Bridgewater resident, is currently
a stay-at-home mother and, when previously employed in the corporate world, was
a Field Underwriting Associate with
Pinnacle Assurance and a Sr. Programmer Analyst with Chubb Insurance. Education:
Rutgers University, Chubb Institute.

Hao Song, a Psychometrician and education researcher
currently with the American Board of Internal Medicine, and a 12-year Bridgewater
resident. Education: Nanjing Normal University, Ph.D., Rutgers
University.

Melanie Thiesse, an administrator for The Westmont
Montessori School, and a Bridgewater resident for just over one year. Education:
Arizona State University, St. Catherine University.
So there you have it.
The BR-BOE has a qualified and diverse field of thirteen applicants from
which to make its choice.
It’s unfortunate that only one person can get the job (with long unpaid hours, I might add), but this community is lucky to have so many people who are interested in the educational
welfare of the Bridgewater-Raritan School District.
